Before the Octenfund was founded, computer scientist Leon von Lilienthal (a descendant of the German von Lilienthal dynasty) traded Futures and Options part time with his own capital. Despite decent results, they were multiple points which made the work inefficient, which costs performance in the long run. One of the primarily problems, was the limited time which could be spent for research which limited the amount of investment opportunities. Another problem was the after work time window, which offered only a handful of opportunities for the rest of the current trading day.
So he decided to develop his own trading bot which uses multiple data sources, including AI-powered soft data extraction and historical weighting of that data. After 20 months of development, the first version was ready and achieved 3% on the forex markets within two weeks. From then on countless improvements were made and the Octenfund as we know it was formed.
